DAY ONE: DAR ES SALAAM TO MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
YDepart by road and drive to Mikumi National Park, which is 320km from Dar es Salaam. The drive takes about 5 hours. Stop for an early lunch in Morogoro town. On arrival in Mikumi National Park, you will start with an afternoon game drive.You will spend the night at Camp Bastian Mikumi on full board (lunch and dinner).
DAY TWO: RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you depart for Ruaha National Park, a 5-hour drive from Mikumi, with a stop in Iringa town to relax before proceeding to Ruaha National Park. On arrival, you will check in at Ruaha Cottages, and in the afternoon, you will go for your first game drive inside Ruaha National Park.
DAY THREE: RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
You will have an early breakfast and depart for your morning game drive. Return for a fresh lunch at Ruaha Cottages, followed by afternoon relaxation and an afternoon game drive. You will overnight at Ruaha Cottages on full board. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
DAY FOUR: RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
You will have breakfast and go on a half-day morning game drive. After a fresh lunch at Ruaha Cottages, you will depart for Mikumi town. You will pass through the Great Rift Valley, stop for photos, and then proceed to Mikumi town. You will arrive in the late afternoon and check in at Camp Bastian Mikumi for an overnight stay on full board. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
DAY FIVE: MIKUMI NATIONAL AND DAR ES SALAAM.
After breakfast, you will depart from Camp Bastian Mikumi and drive back to Dar es Salaam with packed lunch boxes. You will stop en route for your picnic lunch and then continue to Dar es Salaam.On arrival in Dar es Salaam in the afternoon, you will be transferred to your hotel in Dar es Salaam (clients to book and pay at their own cost), or you will be transferred to the airport for your next destination.
