DAY ONE: Day 1: Moshi / Arusha – Rongai Gate – Simba Camp

Drive to the northern side of Kilimanjaro and begin your trek through forest and moorland to Simba Camp.

DAY TWO: Day 2: Simba Camp – Second Cave Camp

Continue your ascent across open landscapes to Second Cave Camp, enjoying broad views and a steady pace.

DAY THREE: Day 3: Second Cave Camp – Kikelewa Camp

Trek through increasingly dramatic mountain terrain to Kikelewa Camp, set beneath the rugged slopes of Mawenzi.

DAY FOUR: Day 4: Kikelewa Camp – Mawenzi Tarn Camp

Climb to Mawenzi Tarn Camp, where you will enjoy spectacular views and a scenic overnight stay beneath towering peaks.

DAY FIVE: Day 5: Mawenzi Tarn Camp – Kibo Hut Camp

Cross the alpine desert saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo and continue to Kibo Hut Camp for your summit preparation.

DAY SIX: Day 6: Kibo Hut Camp – Uhuru Peak – Horombo Hut

Begin your overnight summit push to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) and descend after sunrise to Horombo Hut.

DAY SEVEN: Day 7: Horombo Hut – Marangu Gate – Moshi / Arusha

Descend through moorland and rainforest to Marangu Gate, then transfer back to town.
